"GO FOR THE GREEN"
This summer while our Olympians are "Going for the Gold", you can "Go
for the Green" by selling HP 3000 solutions. To celebrate the success
of the HP 3000 in the Mainframe Alternative program and the
introduction of the new HP 3000 Corporate Business System, we would
like to reward our most important team members, the salesforce.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Any Sales Representative in Salesforce 39 and his or her District
Manager
IT IS EASY TO QUALIFY !!
The "Go for the Green" salesforce incentive program awards $2,500 to
any salesforce 39 direct sales representative, $250 to his or her DM,
and $250 to the appropriate indirect sales representative (if
applicable) for orders closed between May 1, 1992 and October 31, 1992
which have one or more of the following characteristics:**
* HP 3000 Mainframe Alternative order (minimum of $300,000 PL61
revenue)
o IBM 43XX, 308X, or 3090 replacement
o IBM 308X, 3090, or ES/9000 offload
o Mainframe class Unisys, Honeywell Bull, Amdahl or other PCM
replacement
* HP 3000 Corporate Business System order (minimum of $300,000 PL61
revenue)
(Note: HP 3000 Corporate Business System sales booked prior to
May 1, 1992, will be eligible)
* New or upgraded HP 3000 system order coupled with a new application
sale by one of our HP 3000 high-end application partners (minimum
of $200,000 of PL61 revenue). List of eligible partners is listed
below.
IT IS EASY TO PARTICIPATE !!
1. Fill in attached deal registration form to qualify
(May 1, 1992 - Oct. 31, 1992) - follow FAX instructions.
2. Submit Sales Order Number by November 15, 1992 (a convenient form
is attached)
3. Make plans to spend your award when system is shipped !!
**Detailed rules and regulations and a list of high-end partners are
printed on the back of this form. The "Go for the Green" program is
limited to the U.S. Only one $2,500 incentive award per customer to
booking SR. There is no limit to the number of incentive orders you
can book during the promotion period. Orders must be shipped by April
30, 1993. Awards will be paid upon shipment. .PA
"Go for the Green" Rules and Regulations
Note : "Go for the Green" is a U.S. only program
1. To qualify for the "Go for the Green" program, deals must be
registered. A registration form is attached. Registration in the "Go
for the Green" program will give you the highest priority access to any
factory resources that you may need to win. Registration forms are also
available on the CSY Hotline, Subject:BONUS$. Forms can be faxed to
"Go for the Green" (408) 447-4966. You will receive a verification of
registration in HPDESK.
2. In order to qualify, the deal must be a new order booked between May
1, 1992 and October 31, 1992 (canceled and rebooked orders will not
qualify). Only one award per customer (sold-to-address). Booking SR
and their DM will be awarded cash prize. A $250 cash award will be
made to the VAB promoter rep. if an application solution from an HP
partner is involved in the sale. Orders must be shipped prior to April
30, 1993. Deals must qualify in one of the following categories.
Sales which qualify in multiple categories do not receive an additional
award.
To qualify as a HP 3000 Mainframe Alternative Order the sales order
must have a minimum of $300,000 of PL61 revenue* net of any return
credits or discounts. In addition, an IBM 43XX, 308X, or 3090 must be
replaced by an HP 3000 system or an IBM 308X, 3090, or ES/9000 must
have an entire application offloaded on a new HP 3000 system. A
mainframe class Unisys, Honeywell Bull, Amdahl, or other PCM system
which is replaced by an HP 3000 will also qualify. The system replaced
or offloaded must be identified by model and the application replaced
or offloaded must be indicated.
To qualify as an HP 3000 Corporate Business System Order the sales
order must have a minimum of $300,000 of PL61 revenue* net of any
return credits or discounts and the system sold must be an HP 3000
Corporate Business System. Note: HP 3000 Corporate Business Systems
ordered prior to May, 1 1992 will be eligible.
To qualify as a New or Upgraded HP 3000 Order Coupled with an
Application Sale from a High-End Application Partner the sales order
must have a minimum of $200,000 of PL61 revenue* net of any return
credits or discounts. In addition, the deal must involve the sale of a
new application from one of our high-end application partners (list of
partners follows) installed on a new or upgraded HP 3000 system.
3. A sales order number dated between May 1, 1992 and October 31, 1992
must be submitted by November 15, 1992 to CSY Marketing. A simple form
is attached or a form can be obtained from the CSY Hotline,
Subject:BONUS$. Form should be faxed to "Go for the Green" (408) 447-
4966. You will receive a verification in HPDESK of your entry.
4. Shipment must be made prior to April 30, 1993. All awards will be
paid in the month following the month in which shipment is accepted by
the customer. The $2500 SR bonus will be paid to the booking SR. If a
split is necessary it is up to the booking SR to inform the "Go for the
Green" program manager, prior to payment. The $250 DM bonus will be
paid to the DM in position when the order was booked. The $250
indirect sales rep. award will be paid if an application solution from
an HP partner is involved in the sale. The award will be given to the
promoter rep. assigned to the account at time of order. All winners
must be employed by HP at time of shipment to qualify for the award.
5. If there is any question about whether an individual deal qualifies
for a "Go for the Green" award you can contact the program manager,
Patti Zebrowski at (408) 447-6377. If there is any dispute over deal
qualification the order details will be verified with the customer,
field management, and any participating partners. Eligibility will then
be determined by CSY management.
